GR W AT PARKVIEW
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE
In response to the COVID-19 virus, we will not be having any of our weekly services or activities until further notice. Please continue to check our website and facebook for any updates.
Dear Parkview Family
The early church was not immune from various diseases, epidemics and plagues with one plague in the middle of the 3rd century being especially deadly. The plague impacted everyone equally, but many non Christian rulers of the time noticed how the Christians did not abandon those who were helpless, sick or poor, but actively loved others more than themselves. I hope that we as the church will respond to our pandemic with the same love and courageousness that our Christian ancestors exemplified. Part of loving our neighbor during the Coronavirus is doing whatever we can to lessen its spread and its impact, especially for those that are particularly vulnerable to its effects.
Due to this, we will not be having our normal Sunday or Wednesday Services for the next two weeks. However, even as we will not physically gather to worship our Lord, worship will still take place! For this Sunday morning, a sermon will be posted on our website, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. We invite all of you to join us to gather in worship around the spoken Word of God.
We are actively working on different ways that we can repurpose our services and ministries for this crisis, so that we can stay connected and keep nourished from the body of Christ. This is an opportunity for us as a church to think outside-the-box of how to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our world.
We will keep you informed of any changes, and new ways that we can serve and worship together online.
In response to the Coronavirus, we will not be having our Easter Egg Hunt. However, we will be contacting parents about an alternative activity for our Parkview children.
Please continue to check our website and facebook for any updates on our Easter service.
NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL
